Yet another story that shares many real events of life presented in a way that escalates to happiness, congruity and a well deserved dose of justice for the few that are in need of it.  Janet was lucky to have family and friends that understood her needs and stayed at her side through the most difficult of times.

It hurt me as I read of Janet's assault and how she was left to die hidden in the bushes as the bullies ran off to rejoice about what they had just done to her.  I find myself in tears, something that hasn't happened for more years than I care to remember, it stirs memories of years past that never heal, the loss of a parent, our dignity, self-esteem and so much more that we could never put a price on.  I feel that Janet's doctor provided her with a small but essential part of recovery at her mothers request that made it possible for her to return to school with a sense of accomplishment knowing her pain had value and the bullies that assaulted her were well on their way to worse than they had ever imagined.

I seem to feel the happy ending to this story begins with Janet's unusual surgery that helps her fit in, mom, family and friends will all go through a period of adjustment as they realize Janet was with them all along.

One of the sweetest stories I've read. Gentle, compassionate, very possible.

Janet, great story. Janet goes from dressing part-time to full-time. Her ad finally accepts her, then dies in a  tragic accident. Then Grandpa sees that Janet is fullfilling her dreams and accepts her. At school, the bullies attack her and give her an unexpected gift. Rick, her "man" finally accepts her, and makes her a complete woman before the operation. Janet, I hope you are never attacked.

The importance of reader feedback cannot be overstated.   Authors rely on it to improve their future works, and it gives them the incentive to write more stories if they know that their hard work has been appreciated.  I am not saying that comments must all be lauditory.  Authors often appreciate honest, constructive criticism over simple remarks like 'Great story', although simple praise is appreciated also.  There is no limit on how much you can enter in the 'comments' box.   Sentences will automatically word wrap at the end of the line so please do not use your carriage return/enter key except at the end of your paragraphs.
