Well, Kelly, re-reading #22 has given me as good a non-exercise cardiovascular workout as it did the first time; it's got the two things that make me mad:

<<  "I’m trying, Mrs. Anderson. And before you ask, no, I won’t turn him back. First of all, I don’t have that power and second, it was his decision to become your daughter, Linda. Besides, I don’t think being a man again will make Tom happy.  He has to live with what has happened to him."  >>

There's Dennis, the lovable benevolent despot, taking away Tom's right to pursuit of hapiness again.  I usually like to see the former man come to embrace and FREELY CHOOSE his new femininity, but Tom hasn't freely choosen; he decided to be Linda only because he'd been (and continues to be) undeservedly guilted into believing that he's a rotten guy and deserves the punishment and because he believes it's for the good of people he loves. This latter of Dennis and the Judge's reasons to Tom for their decision not to change him back disappear in the face of Mrs. Anderson's statements; she'd rather have Tom back.  He has been and continues to be under psycholgical attack by Dennis and The Judge, and he deserves to be a man again.  I believe he has to live with what has happened to him only because Dennis and the Judge selfishly need him, for some as yet undisclosed reason, in female form, and they need him "adjusted", if not totally happy, because he has to voluntarily help them.  Am I right?  Only you know and you're not really going to make us wait till spring of '03 to get the new chapters with the answer, are you???

The importance of reader feedback cannot be overstated.   Authors rely on it to improve their future works, and it gives them the incentive to write more stories if they know that their hard work has been appreciated.  I am not saying that comments must all be lauditory.  Authors often appreciate honest, constructive criticism over simple remarks like 'Great story', although simple praise is appreciated also.  There is no limit on how much you can enter in the 'comments' box.   Sentences will automatically word wrap at the end of the line so please do not use your carriage return/enter key except at the end of your paragraphs.

It is not necessary to use your real name here, and, email addresses are optional.  Posting your email address will allow the author to thank you for taking the time to post your comments, and/or discuss critiques and address possible concerns.
