Keeping track of the characters becomes confusing, perhaps an update of 'Who's Who'(or should that be "Who had been Who') should be added to the start of each chapter ? Please check the meanings of 'Than' and 'Then' and re edit. Otherwise, entertaining reading.

Okay, it has been a few days since I finished and there is now a question bugging me.

I realized that I never figured out what made Andersonville different from Peace River, meaning how it was supposed to supply the needs of the Olympians without the negative impacts on the human lifespans.  There are all these references to Andersonville being 'a different way' but you never share...

BTW... if you're interested, I do have a 'plot bunny' that could work well in an expanded Andersonville storyline... I call it 'Hide and Seek'...

Wow...

and I repeat... Wow...  I actually went hunting and found AV30 over on 'top shelf' (google the author and andersonville)...  (Fellow readers, you can NOT miss the conclusion to this saga) *cries with sadness AND joy*

Okay... I got into reading TG fiction while doing research for a character I'm writing in a story of mine (the story's not generally TG in nature)  Anywho...  This would be an awesome series to actually see on film, say on showtime or hbo...

While the idea of the Greco/Roman gods as space aliens is not new (ST:TOS 'Who Mourns for Adonis')  Your take, the emotional vampirism, the Titan/Roman (Olympian) war...  Even Rhea/Dennis' 'Wandering Jew' status...

Only one real nit pick... you have a great spell checker, but scattered throughout the work you had a number of incidences of words  that sounded similar to the one you clearly intended to use but were incorrect.  Otherwise... well... there's one word.

WOW!

Don't pretend to be literary critic, but know what I enjoy reading. Thanks for allowing me to read it. Think it would make a great TV series if there weren't so many bigots in the world.

It would be interesting to see what Dennis and Co. would do if on HIS 18th birthday TIM chose to take the risk.  Would there be a scam like the "Linda's Ghost" scam pulled on Tom to guilt or scare him into changing his mind, or would they actually respect his wishes.  Given the history of the Olympians/Titans in this story, I'd bet on the former.

PS - How come 30 never made it to Storysite?

Hi Kelly,

I just wanted to say Thank You for the series of writing on Andersonville. I found them very hipnotic so that I couldn't put the stories down. I have read all the stories from the different writers from A-K so far and found yours to be one of the best. I normally don't have the time to write, but thought that you needed to be given this complement. Please let me know if you are going to write more please!

Thank You Again,
Denise

The importance of reader feedback cannot be overstated.   Authors rely on it to improve their future works, and it gives them the incentive to write more stories if they know that their hard work has been appreciated.  I am not saying that comments must all be lauditory.  Authors often appreciate honest, constructive criticism over simple remarks like 'Great story', although simple praise is appreciated also.  There is no limit on how much you can enter in the 'comments' box.   Sentences will automatically word wrap at the end of the line so please do not use your carriage return/enter key except at the end of your paragraphs.
