Well, Elaine, I was surprised, all right, but not pleasantly. This 3rd person narrative put me more inside the main character's head than most 1st person stories do, and that was one scary, messed-up place to be! Bad boy to good girl? The bad boy in this story has little opportunity to be either good OR a girl, or anything else but toasted and probably roadkill by the end... Written by an author who is anything but Shy, this story contains more malice per square centimeter than just about anything else I've ever seen. I think I have a new worst nightmare: an encounter with Shy in a dark alley somewhere in the inner city, where no one cares how loudly you scream...

THE BEST STORY EVER! I love how he looks. It is the best description eva'! I don't like him swearing though. But the rest is AWSOME! I mean, the glue really adds to the story.

Well, I don't know what to say about this story.
After a few paragraphs I thought 'this is not for me'.  But I carried on reading and read to the very end.
Somehow this style of writing gripped me and held me until I had finished.  I  still don't know how.
If you are reading these comments before looking at the story then I would say give it a go.  You may be pleasantly surprised.

The importance of reader feedback cannot be overstated.   Authors rely on it to improve their future works, and it gives them the incentive to write more stories if they know that their hard work has been appreciated.  I am not saying that comments must all be lauditory.  Authors often appreciate honest, constructive criticism over simple remarks like 'Great story', although simple praise is appreciated also.  There is no limit on how much you can enter in the 'comments' box.   Sentences will automatically word wrap at the end of the line so please do not use your carriage return/enter key except at the end of your paragraphs.
