This isn't a sweet story. Comment by Debbie on 09/30/09 All I can say is DAMN... Good story, it really hit close to home, and that ending. I'm having a bit of a time sorting out my own emotions! Comment by cindy on 03/28/08 Sue, loved your story. especially how you werent shy about useing pretty aprons, I only wish more writers would use pretty aprons in their storys. I think you are a very good writer, please keep up the good work, also would love to read more storys, with pretty aprons used, maybe even pretty plastic aprons. THANK YOU, CINDY Comment by dna on 11/19/07 a really good story - the ending was a surprise, not what i expected at all. as has been mentioned, you really do a good job of making erik's feelings known - he becomes a fully realised person (in my mind anyway!). Comment by Sue Jarvis on 11/08/07 Many thanks for the kind comments, and I apologise if the story was somewhat repetitive in places. The importance of reader feedback cannot be overstated. Authors rely on it to improve their future works, and it gives them the incentive to write more stories if they know that their hard work has been appreciated. I am not saying that comments must all be lauditory. Authors often appreciate honest, constructive criticism over simple remarks like 'Great story', although simple praise is appreciated also. There is no limit on how much you can enter in the 'comments' box. Sentences will automatically word wrap at the end of the line so please do not use your carriage return/enter key except at the end of your paragraphs. It is not necessary to use your real name here, and, email addresses are optional. Posting your email address will allow the author to thank you for taking the time to post your comments, and/or discuss critiques and address possible concerns. Be forewarned that abusive remarks and language will be removed, and the posters may be banned from this AND other areas of StorySite. |
