Good story, Laurie. So Bambi wore a yin-yang medallion too. Was she Adrienne's sister? - because it was never mentioned in the story.

Just a delightful story.  By the way, two of the previous commenters obviously missed a line near the very beginning "... I muttered to my sister.  Amy shifted her position on the couch."  The woman Alan lives with, and who helps him become Alana, is his sister, not a girlfriend.  My only question is, how are Bambi and Alana, Chicago's two hottest sportscasters, going to get away with French-kissing on the dance floor of a busy dance club without stirring up career-ending rumors?  Ah, well.  Who cares!  Great fun!

Very nice story.  I enjoyed the little one-liners.  I agree that Alan lost his model girlfriend a bit abruptly but got hit on by Bambi instead.  He's one lucky guy - too bad he has to be Alana!  But if he can pass well enough to get a job on tv, he's one extremely lucky guy.
Hugs, Annabel

It's always good to see a new story from Laurie Satori, and I enjoyed this one very much. I don't know anything about North American pro sports, but the sportscasting details sounded good and help the suspension of disbelief. If I have to pick nits, I thought the hero's girlfriend disappeared a bit abruptly.
