Dear Lori,

What a truly lovely story.  It was so touching, that I too, had tears in my eyes by the end of this first of hopefully many wonderful chapters of Chris's growing life as a CD girl.  I only wish that my mom and sister were the same, but back in the 50's, life was far from that of today.

Anyway, it was only today that I read this, and wanted to let you know how much I loved it!  I truly hope that you will provide more either on this site or others.

This is more of a brief character study than a "story"-- there's no real plot yet. but maybe you intended this first installment just to serve as an introduction to your hero/heroine and his/her background and to spark the interest of readers.
