You people must have read a different story.  Try reading it aloud...it makes no sense at all.

A story such this requires near perfection in its presentation, and just a single pass by a ‘fixer’ would correct the typos etc that drags a reader back to this ‘maximum brute’ reality world, away from where the story takes us. Obviously a story written from the heart, it is hard to read without shedding tears (Kleenex please!)  Cathleen achieves her objective, with gentle modesty. Such sentences as ‘Cathy grabbed a piece of cake with her hand and tried to her mouth only ending up with more of it on her then in the mouth’ may distress MissGrumpy but actually is perfect for the story! Editor would concentrate on technical flaws (ie: composer=composure; ‘but he knew that this was were he belong’ etc) and leave the language as is.
if only happy endings were real!

Huggles to my little toddler terrific.  Cathleen you have a marvelous gift and I thank you for sharing it with me and others. I have read this story several times and it fills my heart with love and hope every time.  You found the words to capture a beautiful dream and make it real.  I want to thank you for inviting me in to share it with you.  I feel as though I was with you every step of the way, and at least to the candy machine and in the wedding (giggle).

Cathleen, Becky's passing has been such a dark time for so many who hurt with her loss.  Your story has given us much needed love, joy and happiness to help ease that pain. I know Becky is very proud of you just as all of us are.

   Thank you Cathleen.  It was very nice.  I am so proud of you to creat something so heartwarming as this.  Despite all the hassles you had to endure and the pain you had to deal with composing this so soon after Becky leaving us, speaks volumes for your resolve.  Clearly this was also a healing process for you.  "Ya did good kid!"
