Wonderful Story!  It really makes me wonder how my life could have been if I had had the nerve to tell my parents the same thing.  Now I'm 37 and don't know if I'll ever get the chance Lexi got.  Please keep these types of stories coming.

I liked the other two stories so well, I had to read this one to finish off your offering.  This story was as well written as the other two.  Your editing for spelling and grammar are great.  These chracters were a bit more developed than the others, but probably because you had more story to develope them in. Shirley was believable, the father was believable.  I am not so certain that Dave was.  Even if the tranformation was excellent and practiced for years, I suspicion a best friend would notice little "givaways" that would lead them to discovery. Like the little kid that discovers his uncle in a Santa suit, it is not the suit that gives it away but the person inside.  If you really know a person, there are just too many indications of the person underneath.  In any case, the story was great.  I hope to see more stories from you.  Thank you for sharing these.

REALLY sweet.  I enjoyed it a lot.

I think the story ended at the right place, though I'd have liked to see our protagonist sort out her two boyfriends.  But this way we're left with the illusion, at least, that nothing's going to go wrong over her two-year transition.  (Except maybe that Southern accent that disappeared between David's first and second encounters with Lexi...it's fortunate that he was too enthralled with her to notice.)
