Ridiculous is the word that sums up this story. I was quite enjoying it until it went cuckoo after the court scene. Having gone through the "humiliation" of going to court dressed why would he cave after his wife discovered his infidelity, it made no sense. I was prepared to overlook the unlikely actions of the judge regarding the "gifts" but the way the author engineered the Guy into a "slavish" relationship with his wife was absolute nonsense. It was obviously where the author wanted him to end up but getting him there believably was painfully beyond the author's ability.

There is no way a man would agree to all of the things he was faced with after that fateful moment outside of court.  Property settlement in divorces are not determined by affairs or in any other matter except amicable division.  Kevin when confronted by his wife could  have stood firm and said no without any recourse. The fact the attorney knew the wife was going to blackmail her husband makes her an accessory and would face the Legal Discipline board and most likely be disbarred. Sorry to put  a crimp in your story, but I went through two divorces in two seperate states and the laws are pretty much the same when it comes to property division.  His property before marriage is his and hers is hers. Anything accumulated while married is up for discussion and clothing as well as jewelry he bought her would go to her, no matter if he was cross dressing or not.

The importance of reader feedback cannot be overstated.   Authors rely on it to improve their future works, and it gives them the incentive to write more stories if they know that their hard work has been appreciated.  I am not saying that comments must all be lauditory.  Authors often appreciate honest, constructive criticism over simple remarks like 'Great story', although simple praise is appreciated also.  There is no limit on how much you can enter in the 'comments' box.   Sentences will automatically word wrap at the end of the line so please do not use your carriage return/enter key except at the end of your paragraphs.
