Great story Janet...The loss of Beth was tragic but she must have left her spirit behind to lead Emily on so she could become the woman that Beth could feel was trapped inside her brother.  With parents and even the next door neighbor helping as they did, the punishment for that foolish prank was quickly forgotten as Emily blossomed to fill the emptiness of every ones  loss as best she could.

The story conjures up the image of a boy sitting at the top of a high-and-long, gentle-sloping slide that has been moistened with a sweet-smelling perfume.
As he begins the long slide down, having been gently pushed by his mother, his pants and shirt become a dress, his tennies become low, feminine heels, and he takes on the aura of a young girl. The farther down he goes, the farther into girlhood s-he falls.
By the time she arrives at the bottom of the slide, there's no going back,  only forward in womanhood.
What a story! Fantastic.

Great story Janet! After Mom helps Emily look more like a girl, she relaxes and blossoms into her womanhood. Emily's journey transforms her into a sweet, demure lady. The stand out in this story is no scene where Emily has sex with a boy. Yet, she finds being a girl her destiny. If you  continue this tale, Emily needs to find her true love.

Sometimes there is a soulution to a problem..
Yes beth was gone But her "sister"  carried on
and brought the family back together with a healing
that they all needed ... done with love and kindness.
that Janet is famous for and it shows the skills and
compassion she has in her writing ....

Thank you .... XO  Rone
