This could be a nice story in the making. But do they have to jump into bed so quickly? I had the feeling of the old wham-bam.

I feel a bit like an old English teacher, but here goes..
Tell us more about Carol, and what she is feeling. What about Sandy, how does she look and act? What were conversations between the two of you about? When the characters speak, the use of quotation marks are in order. What is it that you have in common? that attracts you to each other? The characters and setting need fuller development. A slower, more sensual approach to lovemaking would also help. Few of us like to just climb into bed and do it. Build up the passion, make us feel what you and Sandy are feeling.
Right now this is more like a 'what I did' report than a story. We need more emotion, more about the characters, more feeling.

I don't want to discourage you Carol. Good writing is an art that has to be worked at. Take your time and enhance the the imagery. It can become a very good story.
