Carol shoudn't agree with her. If she doesn't want to give divorce to Steven, let it be. Worst for her!

Interesting story , made me very sad  really , as a cder for life and having the best most understanding wife of 21 years plus ,I guess not having a more loving or understanding wife in the story made me feel sad for all three people involved. For the GG to be so rigid in social roles( males being males) she her self really needs some professional help I truely have to wonder if she really loves him . It just seems so sad that life being so short that she cannot live with her husbands hobby and needs to divorce him/her because of whatever reason she really should be grateful that it wasn't another GG and then she would have a reason to go down that road, but who knows        Good story of which I'm sure has some sad true to it , take care  and God Speed mike/Adraine

very well written ,enough details but not overly boring with them .a probably very close to many real-life experiences for many .strikingly close to my own in many ways .i enjoyed reading it emensly

Hey Jenn, thanks for pointing that out, I thought I had been clearer on that, but on a re-look through I see I wasn't really.  As mentioned in the scene with Steven and Susan in the hotel resteraunt just after he arrives.  They have been seperated since 2002 and Steven wants the divorce so that he can marry the girl he has been seeing.  Susan mentions he wants the divorce to re-marry but it isn't really clear that she means right away.  I'll have to keep that in mind if a re-write ever happens.

I liked it.  You could really get a feel for who the characters were.

At the end, it mentions a wedding.  Who's getting married?  That part wasn't clear.  Was Steven engaged before his divorce was final?  Seems a wee bit sleazy.

We need more happy endings! Thank you.
