Hang in there, Julie. This particular story needs several hours of serious revision, but that's what good writing is -- grueling, exhausting EDITING and REVISION.  Best of everything to you!

Serious need for an editor here (or some basic lessons in English grammar).

I think it's the incoherence in the story that led to the problem, but the last extended scene seems to be a complete reversal of our narrator's attitude from the rest of the story.  Suddenly, getting humiliated in public at a restaurant, being forced to watch his wife have lesbian sex with a lover whose existence she's been denying since before the marriage, and sharing the house with the pair the rest of the week as a servile less-than-equal partner is all fine with him because it fills a teenage fantasy.   Where was that attitude when he was insisting that Maggie limit herself to one-night lesbian stands and avoiding knowing any details?

Let's try to be nice about this one.  Some of the mis-spelled words came out so funny I just couldn't stop giggling - "chandler ear-rings" for example !  <giggle> Got me going again there !

The end was a cruel twist and the fact that the description of his wife's betrayal gave me a sinking feeling, shows that JULIE JESSICA could, if she put her mind to it, write effectively.  So JULIE, please don't give up, just try to iron out the mistakes before sending the next one in.

Narrative is as bad as the grammar. Wife is lesbian and has a lover (Carol or Coral). He's 15 stone and 6 feet (Will the Brits please lose the measures from the 11th century?)They get him to crossdress,(which he likes to do)abandon hime in a bar, tie him up and munch rug.

The importance of reader feedback cannot be overstated.   Authors rely on it to improve their future works, and it gives them the incentive to write more stories if they know that their hard work has been appreciated.  I am not saying that comments must all be lauditory.  Authors often appreciate honest, constructive criticism over simple remarks like 'Great story', although simple praise is appreciated also.  There is no limit on how much you can enter in the 'comments' box.   Sentences will automatically word wrap at the end of the line so please do not use your carriage return/enter key except at the end of your paragraphs.
