What I would like to know is how did you get into my dream?   Exactly what you have written here is what I dreamed about after I read "The Day of the Triffids".  The idea of all those empty shops full of lovely clothes to dress up in, and nobody to stop me!

You write well.  That was a good story.  But I am not happy about having other people getting into MY dreams.

Dear Annalise: I've seen at least two film versions of DAY OF THE TRIFFIDS and read the novel. Cute idea to use that plot as a jumping off point for your story. You could leave the story as is; but there could definitely be further adventures of/for Anna and Julia. Are you a science fiction fan? Have you seen/read other "after the disaster" films or books? I'm assuming you are English... (I've visited England 8 times-- big fan of Fairport Convention, Steeleye Span, etc etc). I'm a cross dresser myself, and do enjoy a "preppy"/school girl/ nice girl kind of look that I give a "hippie" accent with long hair wigs and appropriate accessories like a peace sign pendant. I don't do more "formal" looks, but that's just personal taste. I look forward to reading more of your work. Feel free to write me at the above address.
Peace-- hippie cheerleader.

The importance of reader feedback cannot be overstated.   Authors rely on it to improve their future works, and it gives them the incentive to write more stories if they know that their hard work has been appreciated.  I am not saying that comments must all be lauditory.  Authors often appreciate honest, constructive criticism over simple remarks like 'Great story', although simple praise is appreciated also.  There is no limit on how much you can enter in the 'comments' box.   Sentences will automatically word wrap at the end of the line so please do not use your carriage return/enter key except at the end of your paragraphs.

It is not necessary to use your real name here, and, email addresses are optional.  Posting your email address will allow the author to thank you for taking the time to post your comments, and/or discuss critiques and address possible concerns.
