Why is it that people accept that growth of flora and fauna or construction of manufactured goods may be defective but that a genetic error in a human being is generated by the person affected and that person has the ability to correct the error whenever they wish to ? This belief seems to be strongest in the ultra religious who also believe their creed is 'love thy neighbour'. Fortunately attitudes are changing and opposition to sex change is slowly decreasing.

It was only after I read the story that I found out Kim had died and I hope it continues. The stroy is not one-demensional like most TG are, but reallife. I became a C-5 quadraplegic on 11-11-09 in a one-car rollover wreck. Before becoming totally paralyzed for life, i only had time to read a few of Chrystal's storys. Now my wife puts the laptop on my power wheelchars table and after she gets it on the sight I can read for hours to my hearts content. I can sympathise with Kimberely because I had many of teh same traumas in my transition from an ablebodied man to a quadraplegic in a power wheelchair. One of them is that my wife is typing this for me as I now have to use a mouthheld stick on the keys and it's slow! Please finish the story.

Many parts of it are a true story.

Kim passed away this past June.

As requested by her before she passed, I and a couple friends are working on finishing here series. We hope we have everything we need to continue this classic tale.

The story was wonderful, and it is only regretable in the fact that several years have past and the author has not continued the tale.  It read like a true story, and perhaps recounting the details has been too painful.  But it is riveting, and I can't imagine that anyone can read it without wanting to hear the conclusion.

I really enjoyed the story and I hope you get to finish it. I would love to find out how Kim, Gail and Tina's lives turn out as well as what happens to the Libbys. It seems that they and the rest of the people who hurt Kim and Gail are long overdue for their day of reckoning. I really hope to hear more. I really appreciate your writing style and look forward to reading what you write. Hope to hear from you soon!

                   Warmest Regards,

                     Jennifer

Love the story so far. Could be an expression of my emotions at a similar time, but unfortunately not with similar results. Karen

I read, I liked, Please finish.   I enjoy stories like yours that draw on human emotion.   I've been beaten many times. My antagonist were boys trying to prove their manhood.  I was different and to Kim I can relate.  I see the cruelty of the lesbian mothers, especially in an era when being lesbian or gay was detrimental to ones life.  I also think the fathers have shown the same contempt, here is an eleven year old comingout in a time when people were unaccepting. How dare she flaunt herself, she has no right to be so free.  That to me is "stinking thinking" and it creates situations in which one can not get out of.

I love the Story but not the wait! It has been 2 years from the posting of Chapter 8. When are you going to finnish Expo Summer?

Comment by Barbara Lynn Terry on 02/05/03
Well, it seems that Mrs. Libby can't take responsibility for her son's actions, blaming everything on someone else. I've known people like Mrs. Libby in my life, but because I never let anyone outside of the TG/TS community know I am a TS, I have had no problems in that area. But I have had disagreements where, neighbors had been in situations they caused and blamed others for their transgressions. Hopefully, Mrs. Libby gets a rude awakening and everyone else just goes about their business.

Chapters 6 and 7 were really realistic. These two chapters were great reading. Can't wait for chapter eight.

Reading other comments saying your story had a feel of coming from the heart.I Can relate to so much of the detales that it could have been the story of my own growing up years, minus the physicle violance from peers.I have a large skeletal frame and have always outsized most my age. Maybe that's why the violance from peers was not part of my story. If only I had access to this story and the intelect when I was 10, I can asure you my life would have take a different path. Things would have been much different for myself and those involved with me. Email me at arroneal@yahoo.com, will be open for discussion. Thanks again for your insightful story, Helen Ready's song Killing me softly could easily have benn the back ground muaic for what this story brought rushing back in thoughts and feelings.

This is very poignant and wonderfully written tale that I have been following with great interest and enthusiasm.  Keep up the good work, Kim.  I'm looking forward to seeing more.

The story just keeps coming and each new part is as good as the previous one. The detail and descriptions make the scenes easy to envision. The quality of the writing is better than average.

Hope Kim shares the next part with us soon.

I really loved this story. It was sad in parts and I could relate to some of it.Are you going to finish this series or let us hang at the end? I would like to know what you have planed for Kimberly next. Bye for now.

This is a real parallel of how things have been in my life. With the beatings from when I was a small child and having to hold everything inside. I wish that something (as bad as this sounds) like chapter five had happened to me, because the nightmare that has been the rest of my life could have been changed to a dream come true.
I look forward to the further adventures of Kim and know that even through the pain, she will live on to become the true essence of womanhood.
