Thanks for this story, Tery.  I appreciate it on two levels: 1) it has a very good values message - that some things are more important than a fifteen minute ego boost, and 2) you wove in something that most authors avoid (I suspect because of their own ambivalence) and that is the place of faith in God and a relationship with Him even when we don't match the norms of society.  Nice job, and thanks!
