The Gemma story is also quite adorable -- and incredibly different in tone and substance. As I go from story to story, Bethany, the variances in tones and characters and motivations are amazing. I enjoy your "Sue-Grafton-esque" way of naming your tales, and wonder if you someday might re-write or insert a small portion of each of your stories in order to inject one common observer or element (such as the burly waitress in the bar-restaurant who always helps Kinsey Milhone just the right insight) -- just a thought, but no worries.
