I truly am starting to see the irish side of you in your works!  And I do have to say that I truly love it!  I tend to dread reading long stories but the two that I have read have been wonderful!  I'm proud to say that I have Irish and the old native americian side in me with these two stories that invole nature animalsand everything that seems involed with there past and hwo people come to accept them in the present and the future!  Though in my opinion you need to continue this one and your Kitten tail!  And may be you have but if not please continue them you are a very talented writer and would hate to see you no longer able to post!  Maybe one day I will see these as a book in a book store I truly hope that will be true!

Oh, Maggie, what a wonderful story!  I found myself crying several times as I read it, sometimes in empathy for the characters you have so eloquently brought to life, sometimes in recognition of a pain we all seem to share, but also in joy.  You have a rare talent to evoke such a strong emotional response.  Thank you.
I am also a long-time fan of Star Trek and enjoyed this marvelous intersection with Gene Roddenberry's marvelous universe.  You have enhanced it most beautifully.

I came across you story and started to read it when I found that I had to finish it before I went and did anything more . It found that place one has in thwir heart where the love and compassion resides deep in ones soul. And it found that one spot that I have tryed so very hard to keep closed and hidden for many years. The story brough me to tears and started to rip my soul open to the feeling that I have so tried to keep deeply hidden inside . And I wish to give thanks to you for finding that spot and showing me that life could go on. If one just follows their heart.  Love and joy to you and please keep writing and bringing joy to the hearts of people.

What a beautiful heart warming story. The delicate touch of good and bad tribulations the writer presented to the reader as the story progressed was nothing less than perfect writing skills.

Maggie O'Malley is one of those rare writers who instinctively knows how to handle characters, dialog, and pace the story so it tugs the emotions of the reader. I would definately give this lady a ten on writing. There are several things that jumped on me as I finished the story. Where and for whom has this lady been writing? This isn't a first story or this lady is so gifted it's not funny.

Huggles all!  This is an authors note to any and all who decide to brave this tale.  I would like to apologize for the errors in this story.  In my haste to get it posted, I inadverntently posted a copy that still contained errors that had yet to be proofed out and even one proofreaders comment.  I intend to get a polished version posted to replace this one ASAP.  In the meantime, thank you for your patience and understanding.  Maggie the Kitten

Dear Maggie,

Thank you for another heartwarming, eyewatering story - so much emotion, but not too much.  This story should be the first part of at least a two parter.

Thank you

The importance of reader feedback cannot be overstated.   Authors rely on it to improve their future works, and it gives them the incentive to write more stories if they know that their hard work has been appreciated.  I am not saying that comments must all be lauditory.  Authors often appreciate honest, constructive criticism over simple remarks like 'Great story', although simple praise is appreciated also.  There is no limit on how much you can enter in the 'comments' box.   Sentences will automatically word wrap at the end of the line so please do not use your carriage return/enter key except at the end of your paragraphs.
