Very, very good story! Comment by rosemary langton on 06/01/11 A lovely well written story I did not find it impossible to believe because there have been many people who have not realised they were hermaphrodites until they were medically examined. What i particularly liked about the story was that it was devoid of conflict and had a happy ending Comment by Molly on 08/30/08 A well-crafted story; with the assistance of people like Jill MI, it could scarcely fail to be. However, there was just too much disbelief for me to suspend in a few places. Near the end, for example, we discover, along with the main character, that she has a particular medical condition (I don't want to give it away); the idea that she has lived into adulthood without something this obvious having been discovered was, to me, way over the top. A "reality" story that doesn't feel like it could actually have happened is like a champagne that has lost its effervescence -- it falls flat. The importance of reader feedback cannot be overstated.
