Oh, Prue, I think the repeat is just a techno-blip of some sort, and the story is finished --- except what you are inspired to continue in your own mind.

Author Elsa B has managed to tap my reservoir of food for thought. Therefore, a couple questions: What was the general doing on this chat line anyway? Do generals have consciences? Did some immortal cross the general onto Elsa's link?

And what do we think about this juxtaposition of what we assume is a general's overall approach to problems as opposed to (or at least compared with) your somewhat above average (I'm guessing!) crossdresser? In this story, the general apparently doesn't know Eric from anyone else in the universe, but it looks as though he (not too many she-generals out there, I'd opine) may be buying into Elsa's analysis of the situation.

I've never read another story quite like this one. Well done!

UM... I SEEM TO BE MISSING SOMETHING HERE, I SEE TWO REPEATED SECTIONS AND IT DOESN'T SEEM TO BE FINISHED?

The importance of reader feedback cannot be overstated.   Authors rely on it to improve their future works, and it gives them the incentive to write more stories if they know that their hard work has been appreciated.  I am not saying that comments must all be lauditory.  Authors often appreciate honest, constructive criticism over simple remarks like 'Great story', although simple praise is appreciated also.  There is no limit on how much you can enter in the 'comments' box.   Sentences will automatically word wrap at the end of the line so please do not use your carriage return/enter key except at the end of your paragraphs.
