I JUST READ THE ALTERNATE VERSION OF THIS STORY AT BIG CLOSET. I LIKED HOW YOU PUT YOURSELF INTO THE STORY. YES TINA, YOU HAVE TOUCHED THE STARS TWICE. ME, I ADMIRE THOSE INDIVIDUALS THAT MAKE THE SACRIFICE TO BECOME APART OF THE MILITARY. MY DADDY WAS A WORLD WAR TWO VETERAN. I WAS THE LAST KID BORN. HE SUFFERED FROM DIABETES. WHEN I WAS 12, HE SUFFERED FROM A STROKE AND DIED SOON AFTER. WE HAD THAT FINAL CHRISTMAS TO SAY GOODBYE. FOR THAT, I AM ETERNALLY GRATEFUL TO GOD. THE ASTRONAUTS ARE INDEED WORTHY OF OUR RESPECT. THEIR TRAINING IS MORE INTENSE THAN ANY OTHER. THEY MUST ENDURE MORE HARDSHIP TO DO THEIR DUTIES.

VERY NICE TINA. YOU BROUGHT IN NORA OF M.I.B.D. AND THE CYBER CAFE AND INTRODUCE MAGGIE, YET ANOTHER GIRL THAT DRUNK THE SPECIAL COFFEE TO STAY A GIRL. DOES MAGGIE HAVE A STORY OF HER OWN? IT WOULD BE NICE TO READ HOW SHE BECAME A WITCH. YOU, MY FRIEND SEEM TO HAVE A KNACK FOR SCIENCE FICTION STORIES. ME, I AM A SCIENCE FICTION FAN.

Dreams are the best form of magic, especially the waking dreams.

Very well done, Valentina, very well done. You manage to pluck all the heartstrings and even play some chords.

In many ways this was reminisent of early Ray Bradbury, who loved mixing the down home small town with the magical and spiritual.

Reading this brought me back to that wonderful era when everyone looked up and saw stars and felt they were within our grasp.

The importance of reader feedback cannot be overstated.   Authors rely on it to improve their future works, and it gives them the incentive to write more stories if they know that their hard work has been appreciated.  I am not saying that comments must all be lauditory.  Authors often appreciate honest, constructive criticism over simple remarks like 'Great story', although simple praise is appreciated also.  There is no limit on how much you can enter in the 'comments' box.   Sentences will automatically word wrap at the end of the line so please do not use your carriage return/enter key except at the end of your paragraphs.

It is not necessary to use your real name here, and, email addresses are optional.  Posting your email address will allow the author to thank you for taking the time to post your comments, and/or discuss critiques and address possible concerns.
