A nice way for things to happen in real life, not for what happened to mom and dad but the rest of the story was great.

Yet another great story Janet.Thomas/Tanya was so lucky in having an understanding mum and boss. Although a long story it would have been nice to see if Tanya completed her transformation into becoming a woman.

JANET, TANYA'S STORY IS STILL UNTOLD. TANYA NEEDS TO GROW INTO A WOMAN AND MEET THE GUY SHE MENTIONS AT THE END. THANK YOU FOR A RICH, ENTERTAING STORY OF A BOY BECOMING A GIRL

Very nice, as are all your writings.
The story of Thomas / Tanya being another example of your excellent work and ability.
Have read most of your stories and am remiss in that I have taken so long to comment.

Keep up the good work.

Another one of the many talented authors and such a prolific one at that Janet has an affinity to write such endearing and telling tales.

Her Thomas gets his wish as so many of her characters do but nether the less you just have to admire the way Janet finds the words to make each and every one of her stories a tale to remember.

I know that if there is one constant, it's that Janet will continue to allow us the opportunity to come to her pages and read and savor the wonderful adventures she has given us.

Great story and I am envious of Thomas.

One of your better entires Janet.  I will admit to having not read many of your recent stories because they began to feel like copies.  I know hwo that really sounds, but in my mind it was true.  I guess like anything if you read enough of these stories you get tired of them after a while.

However, I am coming back to read more of your works to see what is going on in your writing.  I have to applaud you for hanging in there and coming up with some better writing.  "The Gown" is one of your best IMHO.

Glad to see you writing again Janet.

Cheers.

Dear Janet,

Beautifully written, as usual. It's what every boy with dreams of becoming a girl would love to have happen.

I was pleased that his mom and sister were open-minded enough to see that opposing Thomas' dream would be a terrible thing to do.

Gloria and a few others did take advantage, each for their own personal reasons, however none but the columnist were vengeful. For that matter, why should anyone be? Assuming a life Thomas felt was right for him hurt no one.

Tender attention to his mother's happiness was a nicce touch.

Sincerely,

Virg.

P.S.: Do you have the name of the beauty salon he visited?

The importance of reader feedback cannot be overstated.   Authors rely on it to improve their future works, and it gives them the incentive to write more stories if they know that their hard work has been appreciated.  I am not saying that comments must all be lauditory.  Authors often appreciate honest, constructive criticism over simple remarks like 'Great story', although simple praise is appreciated also.  There is no limit on how much you can enter in the 'comments' box.   Sentences will automatically word wrap at the end of the line so please do not use your carriage return/enter key except at the end of your paragraphs.
