I had a good laugh at the end !   I THOUGHT that I would find the idea of Archangel Michael etc etc just annoying, but I think you handled it well and it was funny and quite entertaining all the way through.

BTW, I think it is just another example of the half-sentient naked ape's arrogance to suggest that the duck billed platypus is a joke - the species H sapiens is the biggest evidence for the sense of humour that a creator might have had !

Actually, the style is very similar to Heinlein or Palmer.  It took me a bit to get into the story (there are a few rough edges in the first few pages) but past that point the story actually moved quite well.

Definitely one of the better stories in the great shift world and, yes, this does have the potential to become one of the great stories on the site.

This was a great, great shift story and idea but was difficult to read due to the way it was written. Always kind of like talking down to the reader.

The murder scence....well i just do not know how to explain how I disliked its reasoning.

Author can still save this story though in another installment
