This is a beautiful and very accurate account of getting a perm. Very detailed and i must say i have had numerous perms and i can remember my first one to the last detail but the others no. Thank you for your wonderful story. Charlene

It would have been interesting to read an alternate ending starting with the change where old ED is deeply hurt and gets angry (the brainwashing part of the spell doesn't take.) and on finding that Old Barb had indeed set him up, demands a divorce. "I may have to live ten years as a woman, but I won't live them with you. How could I ever trust you?" See where their lives go from there.

If you eliminate the brainwashing this would, I think, be a much more likely outcome than a happy ending.

Hello Elaine;

  Very nice! I really like your simple true to life story. The details in this case were delicious. It was light and fun and very much of an anticipation story. Along with real life wish fulfillment.

Hugs,

Kristi
