I took over daycare for our kids & did as much of laundry,dishes,house cleaning I could, after a couple years according to her I could'nt do anything right!! she started treating me like a servant after 25 years together it got so nasty it took us 4 years & 3 judges to get threw divorce court!!!

I THINK THAT NIKKI WHEN FACED WITH THE POSSIBILITY OF LOSSING EVERYTHING HE WORKED FOR AND CARES ABOUT WILL SPEAK UP,TELL HIS WIFE THAT HE ONLY WANTS TO SERVE HER AND DOESN'T WANT TO BE SENT TO INDIA OR TO CHANGE CULTURES. HE ALSO WILL NOT RISK LOSSING HIS FINANCIAL SECURITY THAT THAT HE WORKED ALL THOSE YEARS FOR, HIS WIFE IS SUPPOSE TO BE PROTECTING HIM AND THEM. HE MAY GO BACK TO WORK AS A MAID FOR THE CORPORATION BUT WILL NOT AGREE TO BE SENT OVERSEAS.

I have read Housemaid in my 50's many times, and the development of the story is terrific.  I would love to see Nikki stranded in India for a while as h/she has no documentation to get back, then when she is allowed back to the U.S. it is as a documented alien with only a 1 year visa to work.  Then she will have to renew every year.  She will be the virtual slave of Mrs Manley, and Arka, and will live in fear of being forced to return to India to be the slave of Arka's relatives.  

By this time in order to further her living status she will have  permanently signed over all her rights and properties to her wife, and on top of this his wife declares him missing and presumed dead so that he can never return as his old self.

He is caught up in his own web, and there is no way out.
Love to hear your insight into this as the story up to now is terrific.

Monica i have an question for u. In part 4 what does this mean when Nikki says this "At this moment I felt how much I lost my abillity the past few months to interact sexually with my wife." Please email me back on that. And i enjoy reading all ur story and the housemaid in my 50s is my best story and Thank you

    You have created an intelligent well-crafted story with a profound sense of truth. Nikki's courageous exploration into his submissive nature is plausible and possible within the context of his past career and current marriage to Mrs. Manley/Pam. She now has the perfect maid and housekeeper, while he is living his fantasies and is at the same time protected and nurtured through legal agreements with his spouse.
This is a free will planet and both partners share a consensual world.
    The appearance of Arka is thus problematic for me for several reasons. If Arka is truly from the untouchable caste in India, she is no doubt happy and relieved that she has escaped from a life of drudgery and hopelessness. Would she really have the money and influence in India to support herself let alone this further education of Nikki/Harita into the depths of a life better characterized as human misery? What is her motive, when she already has some control over this highly submissive individual? Why and how could Pam benefit by devoting money and loss of her trusted companion when she can already govern his/her every activity? Arka could nevertheless satisfy her dominant tendencies and further Harita's submissiveness just by staying put on their respective Sundays off. Besides, Arka is still a maid in the eyes of Pam and Miss Di Laurentis and her desire to be on her own probably would lead her away from the domestics industry.
    You have already opened the door through some of Pam's dominant friends who frequent fetish clubs to further subjugate Nikki. Perhaps some unwanted compromises with Arka, where she must relinquish some power in exchange for financial incentives with a hapless Harita in harem pants and slave bracelets tagging along. Yes, life could take some surprising turns. Thanks again for a satisfying tale.

  I have just read "..Apron" for the third or fourth time.  Have you boxed yourself in dear?  Bob has been offerred a job of all things after legally and emotionally investing himself in a new job and new persona.  However, you have left the story hanging there?  Want me to take a stab at it?  If so- just leave a note here and I will check back.  Have you seen the reviews on FM about your "Maid in 50's" story?
