Loved your story it is so emotionally charge I
was beside myself. Hopefully we'll get to watch Beverly change into an outstanding member of womanhood and watch her family grow with her.

Sandra and Pickles you are to be congratulated----0f 28 stories I have looked at on this site tonight this one is not only more than readable but is the only one that could be called transgendered
because that is exactly what it is.A beautiful story, beautifully told and if anyone read it and did not cry they are not human.Thank you so much and may God bless you.Alison

my dear wonderful Sandra . My tears will not stop.
Oh how I wish some of my friends parents would have had a change of heart,  and / or even cared . They did not have a little sister like
Sandra.  Too many of them did leave and walk out the door  and out of
the lifes of thoes who cared .The love and caring  of so few was not strong enough  there pain so tough there hearts too dead  to reach any more. I pray to see and hold them in my beautiful  dreams of them  tonight thank you
I am glad in your story someone made it

Dear Pickles and Sandra:

A simply delightful sweet and sentimental story with cute and tenacious little sister to boot. And yes I do believe the story stands by itself just fine and has a complete feel. Of course we are curious as to what happens to Beverly as she grows and matures.

Thank you for a sweet story that has conflict and resolution as well.

Hugs,

Kristi

When we are in our darkest hour we certainly do not put those close to us as being important, but it is those closest to us that pull us out of our trap. Sandra and Pickles certainly could make a second chapter out of fhe two growing up. When a family that is close especially siblings the bond can not be broken. The two authors showed a bond that could not be broken even the thought of leaving to die but stopping to tell a sister to grow up and be a lady did not stop the younger one from doing what she felt best.  The writers  did well on showing that even at our end we seek help.
I was in tears when I finished reading this story it is so close to home.

I'm sorry but I honestly have to say this story ain't finish!  I want to know more of how the relationship of Bev and Sandra turn out!  There are to many families that are so full of abuse though honestly I'm surprised That he refused to stay for the one person that matter the most to him which was his sister!

This little story is excellent reminder of so many of ours who feeling lost and abandoned do the unthinkable. Too bad families like Robert's are all too rare...good job Sandra and Pickles....
