I liked, But Barbara should have said to Jane that she knew Alison, and she told Alison about Jane. I think that Barbara didn't act correctly with Jane.
Keep writing.
Kisses.
Silvia.

Pity! It's deja vu all over again.

The 1st idea was good but don't you have any other themes?

The realism and caring comes through in every paragraph.  Did you ever think of a piece that feminizes a stressed, unhealthy and burned-out male boss, placing his secretary in charge of his company and him in a secretarial role without any of the blackmail, etc. I like those kinds of stories but there is always room for something different. Say it starts out as a lark (say on Secretary's Day as a bet) and winds up being fun, mutually agreeable to both.  She does better in his job and he finds relief and better physical and mental health in dressing and doing clerical work.  You could do something wonderfully uplifting in this vein given your other terrific stories.  This is my favorite of all.

Fantastic, wonderful and loving.  The more gently forced stories like this the better.

What a nice tale.  Pleasantly told and without pain or problems.  What a lucky girl Jane is.  Your writing style is smooth and comfortable.  Your characrers are full and lifelike.  The plot was an interesting variation on the theme of discovery and acceptance.
Thank you for sharing this with us.

The importance of reader feedback cannot be overstated.   Authors rely on it to improve their future works, and it gives them the incentive to write more stories if they know that their hard work has been appreciated.  I am not saying that comments must all be lauditory.  Authors often appreciate honest, constructive criticism over simple remarks like 'Great story', although simple praise is appreciated also.  There is no limit on how much you can enter in the 'comments' box.   Sentences will automatically word wrap at the end of the line so please do not use your carriage return/enter key except at the end of your paragraphs.
