Dear Paul,

Don't worry about what Lani says, some people think that their opinion is the only one that matters. And as a wise person once said, 'You can please all of the people some of the time, and some of the people all of the time, but you can never please all of the people all of the time.'

Keep writing, and remember that there's always plenty of other people out there on the same wavelength as you are. It's just that they don't get in touch. And most of them can't write stories either.

To me, there's nothing like putting your fantasy into words and then sharing its pleasure with others.

Best wishes

From Jennifer.

i dont care what lani says you do write good stories, although a little short, this one is what its all about(wishful thinking)but id rather this type of story unlike what some of the authors think.

Father Flanagan, the founder of Boys' Town, said "There is no such thing as a bad boy."

In that same spirit, permit me to say that there is no such thing as a good, intelligent and literate Jutras story.

The importance of reader feedback cannot be overstated.   Authors rely on it to improve their future works, and it gives them the incentive to write more stories if they know that their hard work has been appreciated.  I am not saying that comments must all be lauditory.  Authors often appreciate honest, constructive criticism over simple remarks like 'Great story', although simple praise is appreciated also.  There is no limit on how much you can enter in the 'comments' box.   Sentences will automatically word wrap at the end of the line so please do not use your carriage return/enter key except at the end of your paragraphs.

It is not necessary to use your real name here, and, email addresses are optional.  Posting your email address will allow the author to thank you for taking the time to post your comments, and/or discuss critiques and address possible concerns.

Be forewarned that abusive remarks and language will be removed, and the posters may be banned from this AND other areas of StorySite.
