I really liked this story. It not only showed acceptance and love, but it shared secrets that I have only known one family to discuss. In that family the two boys had grown up as girls, unknown to their parents. Until they started to develop that is. But this story is really nice, and there should be more transgendered stories like this. I get tired of all the gross sexual stories out there, and always felt we needed more stories with acceptance and love.

Anyway, the running away was a journey of self discovery; being taken in by the sisters, and finally reunited with her family, actually made me smile.

Even though in our male oriented world, we have a difficult time being us, there are real families out there that readily accept their transgendered children.

In a novel I am working on now, a mother with a M2F transsexual child said that she accepted her child immediately when she came out to her. So stories like this do really happen, of course I don't know about the father being transgendered as well, but I can't say it hasn't happened.

This is a very positive influence, Stacy, and I hope that you write more like this.

Much hugs,
Barbara

The importance of reader feedback cannot be overstated.   Authors rely on it to improve their future works, and it gives them the incentive to write more stories if they know that their hard work has been appreciated.  I am not saying that comments must all be lauditory.  Authors often appreciate honest, constructive criticism over simple remarks like 'Great story', although simple praise is appreciated also.  There is no limit on how much you can enter in the 'comments' box.   Sentences will automatically word wrap at the end of the line so please do not use your carriage return/enter key except at the end of your paragraphs.
