Great concepts.  Only wish you hadn't emphasized "elderly" so much.<p> <p>
If Simone is such a young woman, why should her mother be elderly?<p>
<p>
Rationally, couldn't her mother be an "overweight middle-aged matron"?<p>
<p>
I'm inclined to say "Please write another episode."<p>
<p>
And certainly continue the "magic people" theme, wish credits and all!<p>
<p>
Good luck!

This is a very entertaining concept- haven't seen anything like it before- and i love originality on this site. One suggestion, though- there was too much repetition of "fat, elderly, etc", wish credit, and wish insurance. Your readers are smart enough to figure those things out at the first mention., and repetitive use gets a little boring. The ideal- and i know it's not easy- is to let the reader see just enough of your universe to understand what's going on, without beating them over the head with it. That aside, i get the feeling that this is just part one of several, and i'm looking forward to see how our hero gets his revenge on Linda/Simone. Please- take your time- and give us lots of detail- i love seeing the screw twist ever so slowly.

Magic ability as a 'bank account'. Haven't seen that lately. Leaves you open to theft and other forms of abuse, which crook types forget can go both ways, especially if you protect yourself.

Looking at more than just this story: why the 'Men against controlling women' in all four of Mr. Hicks' stories? Maybe he read too many accounts of women abusing their position of authority? Or maybe it's "Don't abuse your position/ability- the result may backfire on you if you do."

      The importance of reader feedback cannot be overstated.   Authors rely on it to improve their future works, and it gives them the incentive to write more stories if they know that their hard work has been appreciated.  I am not saying that comments must all be lauditory.  Authors often appreciate honest, constructive criticism over simple remarks like 'Great story', although simple praise is appreciated also.  There is no limit on how much you can enter in the 'comments' box.   Sentences will automatically word wrap at the end of the line so please do not use your carriage return/enter key except at the end of your paragraphs.
