Rebecca,
You have written a sensitive, thoughtful story with very few grammatical errors. The change from Chris to Jenny is masterfully done. My only complaint is that you have left the story unfinished as Jenny has so much more to experience towards her fulfillment as a girl, a woman and as a person.

This was a great story shame the writer did not finish it!

Seems to happen way to often!

Very well written and enjoyable story. The level of factual detail added to its depth as well as getting across Jenny/Chris's thoughts in a believeble way.

A very well written story; I found it delightful.
I can see that a lot of work went into crafting the characters & plot line. I was enjoying it so much I was sorry to reach the end.

Agree with silvia.

Well this is another great story but I was so sad when you had not finished it. I can only dream about what a happy ending would be for Jenny and her family and friends. I guess after so long a time it would be silly of me to think you will continue but as I said with Wild Horses, you are a very talented writer. Both of these stories would make wonderful movies that I am sure would garner rave reviews. Thank you for a very enjoyable time reading your work.

DISGUSTING!
Marcia should be arrested, transformed into a man and be sentenced to life imprisonment for what she did to Chris.
Bad story.

Dear Rebecca,

I read your lovely story again, and I am asking you again please to continue it.

If you have any problems, perhaps I and your other Fans here would help you - I'm quite good at organizing help for people so please ask if you need any.

Love and hugs,

Very enjoyable and well written story!

This is really extraordinarily well written. If you're not a fully professional author, making a living by writing, there's something wrong somewhere. I know pro writers who don't write as well as this — and I've been in publishing for many years.

What a great story. Jenny has some great friends. Please continue with the story.
I look forward to the next part.

Rose.

I love the story, both the premise and the character developement,
and the total interaction.  It would be a shame not to finish it, as I see that there have been no recent additions. Here's hoping that the spark of creativity will strike , again, and the author will feel
compelled to complete the adventure.

A wonderful story.  Good character development, believable plot line, realistic dialogue.  I couldn't put it down (figuratively speaking), I was that involved in the story.  Great job.  Looking forward to more.

Superb and gripping story with characters who really come to life,
as their dialog, behavior, and attitudes are fleshed out with
distinctive and true-to-life details. Thank you so much, Rebecca!
Who of us going through transition doesn't feel a warm glow all over
experiencing the presence of our own "Jenny" inside?

There are several stories on this site that I wish someone would
turn into a Hollywood movie. "Marcia and Me" is one of them.

Rebecca I just loved your first two chapters in the life of Jenny, it seems so real and brings back so many lovely memories, please carry on and let us know more about this lucky young lady... I really do think this is one of the mostbeautiful stories of transition I have read, thank you so very much, hugs and kisses from the land down under.

Comment by Elizabeth on 03/22/01
Rebecca,
The impressions and feelings that you capture in your story are the most accurate I have read on what it is like to transition.  I remember the feelings of surprise at how natural and how “easy” it is to transition.   I remember people in my life saying – “oh, yeah – we knew this was coming” – while you are just scratching your head wondering how you missed the memo.   You keep thinking you have this big, dark secret and everyone else just knows and accepts who you are.  It’s not about being overtly feminine – or our bra straps showing (although that sometimes happens, too) – it’s about who we are in our hearts.   I remember thinking – “oh, I just don’t want to be weird” – while everyone around me realized at some level that “weird” or at least – “doesn’t quite fit in” -- only applied to the old role.
This is great work – every word – just wonderful.  So many impressions and memories -- except the modeling parts -- but that's nice, too!  Congratulations.
Elizabeth
