Gee Lear, you are a bit tough.
The guy is writing a story, working out themes of his heart, and allowing us to accompany him.
You cannot handle every dimension in a short story.
Actually I think this guy is the pick of all who write here, he is a genuine talent.
I think comments are wonderful - it is horrible not have have comments, but I never like 'trickle down comments'.
Keep u the work Lear, just try and be a tad more kind
You know the little boys' prayer "please God make good people kind and kind people good!"

Dear Cal!

One can only assume that Ted is as handsome as Marilyn is beautiful. The question arises, however, can this union, seemingly based on raw sexual attraction alone have any staying power?

You say there's more to it than that? I sure hope so, and might I suggest that if you were to "divulge" some of this unusual couple's additional virtues, it would likely make very entertaining reading.

Your short takes on situations can be exceptionally attractive, but from time to time the objects of your current fascination possibly could use a more thorough treatment to make our reading more complete.

The importance of reader feedback cannot be overstated.   Authors rely on it to improve their future works, and it gives them the incentive to write more stories if they know that their hard work has been appreciated.  I am not saying that comments must all be lauditory.  Authors often appreciate honest, constructive criticism over simple remarks like 'Great story', although simple praise is appreciated also.  There is no limit on how much you can enter in the 'comments' box.   Sentences will automatically word wrap at the end of the line so please do not use your carriage return/enter key except at the end of your paragraphs.

It is not necessary to use your real name here, and, email addresses are optional.  Posting your email address will allow the author to thank you for taking the time to post your comments, and/or discuss critiques and address possible concerns.

Be forewarned that abusive remarks and language will be removed, and the posters may be banned from this AND other areas of StorySite.
