I've never been a fan of your stories. They've always had a certain misandry as well as a misogyny that is disguised as philogyny. However, this story has noticeably less of the creeping misandry of her other works, and most remarkable for White, the villian is a female. Sure, there is an oblique shot taken at malekind, which detracts, but she moves on. The story has a very interesting plot and a rather unique way to devise the transformation. The story moves fast and is pretty gripping. It's a thoroughly enjoyable story, and I'm sorry that White hasn't written more stories that fall into the annoy trap that posits all men are weak, mean, evil and just simply very bad by their nature. Perhaps that is because she recieves no compliments when she writes stories that aren't ammunition for the battle of the sexes. Thus, I write this review.

very frustrating!  It ended too soon and with the evil bitch goddess (apparently) winning.

WOW!  Dark and wonderful!   The price she was willing to pay in the end was amazing...but could her mistress have guessed she would do this and all was in vain as she would wake up a statue again before her mistress?   If not does her note or the payment of her apartment leave clues that draws Mr. Twenty to Medusa and all was again in vain?

The importance of reader feedback cannot be overstated.   Authors rely on it to improve their future works, and it gives them the incentive to write more stories if they know that their hard work has been appreciated.  I am not saying that comments must all be lauditory.  Authors often appreciate honest, constructive criticism over simple remarks like 'Great story', although simple praise is appreciated also.  There is no limit on how much you can enter in the 'comments' box.   Sentences will automatically word wrap at the end of the line so please do not use your carriage return/enter key except at the end of your paragraphs.
