Hi Arecee.
Both were unfaithful. But they loved one another.
Congratulations. You wrote another great story.
I think you're one of the best.
Kisses.
Silvia.

I enjoyed this story too (like others who have posted comments). I particularly like how Mark, the FBI agent, was characterized: strong and protective; warm, compassionate, considerate, and respectful of other people's feelings; yet also fully human, complete with flaws, weaknesses, confusion, and indecision.

I have to say, though, that there was a bit too much disbelief for me to suspend in a few places; in one or two of those, that feeling had to do with shortcuts that were taken to move the plot. Male-bashing comments were by and large restricted to only one paragraph; though I am glad there was not more, it is rare to find a TG story where males and masculine energy are not portrayed as "The Enemy," or at least derided and ridiculed.

While I understand Mialing's hurt over why Mark left her for another woman, and her desire to hurt back when Mark came back to her, I was annoyed by the fact that Mialing had not exactly kept faith with Mark, either. While Mark was on assignment under cover, Mark and Mialing had each had an affair -- Mark "came clean" to Mialing about his affair, but Mialing did not reciprocate by disclosing about hers. Under the circumstances, I was annoyed by her self-righteous anger and "you have to prove your worthiness this time" posture when she had also broken faith with him.

Other than that bit of irritation, I see this as a story about well-intentioned people who do the best they can in the circumstances in which they find themselves, and with the results of their choices and mistakes. I see a strong theme lying between the lines, about passing judgment on people without knowing where they've been in their lives, nor what they've had to do just in order to survive. "People judge, and the less they know, the quicker they rush to judgment." That message shows up in this story, in several places.

I read two chapters and are starting on the third now.
I like your style, it's a fast pacing action story.
A little to compressed for me but understandably so as you want us to know all :)
This is actually a story that could stand on its own :)
If you see what I mean.

cheers
Yoron.

A wonderful story, absolutely spellbinding.  Very well researched and written, you pack so much life into it and the plot is entirely believable.  Very refreshing to see an old theme given a new twist in such a manner.  Very well done.
