The story is not bad, but I don't know why Elizabeth did this with him.
Didn't she loves him enough?

I love a love story  How many of us wish our wives would  want us to become a woman and not have it forced on us by devious means. Although I do not know what the wife got out of it.  My wife and I have had discussions that ended with "and what about me what am I supposed to do?'  She obviously had a reason and it was never made clear.  She liked normal sex with him so why did she encourage his sex change.   Of course in reality these things take many more twists and turns and few end up very happy.  But we can dream and thank you for painting our dream in such pretty colors.   lee lee

I still don't understand Elizabeth's motivation.  It was obviously a very carefully thought out plot, and she never did answer his questions as to why.  What would she have done if he had been unwilling and resistant?  I know she said she would love him if he chose to go back to being Barry, but by the time she said that, she had to have been 99% certain he would choose Barbara.

The importance of reader feedback cannot be overstated.   Authors rely on it to improve their future works, and it gives them the incentive to write more stories if they know that their hard work has been appreciated.  I am not saying that comments must all be lauditory.  Authors often appreciate honest, constructive criticism over simple remarks like 'Great story', although simple praise is appreciated also.  There is no limit on how much you can enter in the 'comments' box.   Sentences will automatically word wrap at the end of the line so please do not use your carriage return/enter key except at the end of your paragraphs.
