Claiming a story as one's own personal fantasy is a sure-fire way to defuse "suspension of disbelief" and other sorts of criticisms. It saddens me, though, that you would want your family and friends to practice the deceptions upon you that you describe in the story, rather than have them support you in such a way that you would come to feel safe to share your inner life with them. My parents are in the twilight of their lives, and this is still my greatest desire in my relationships with the two of them: that I could be completely open with them, and experience total acceptance.

an interesting start to the story it suprised me that the parents knew all along but to give him hormones instead of diet pills is a bit heavy look forword to the next part
