A nice story that got its start long ago when mom was still at home understanding her sons needs.

That was a beautiful story.

This was a great story, and like some of your others, it speaks to me in ways that some may not understand.  You definitely have a gift for writing, and even though some seem rushed, or lacking some background, your stories are a delight to read

Very good, thanks. A great story, well told and believable; I really enjoyed reading it.

This is one writer I just see the name and I know I'm in for a story I'd like.  The father blowing up but also listening to his kid is so totally believable and the whole story to the end was great. Do agree with others who comment here that the ending could of gone better for the characters at least. Life of course isn't perfect either.

I wish this story did not end the way it did. There is so much left unsaid here. Like Jezzi said, a few questions beg to be answered. Endings are the toughest part of any story I believe and this one is no exception. I call it "The Quick and the Dead" ending. LOL...

Answer a few of the future questions and poof! THE END.

Another great story by my idol Janet!

I like Janet's stories, and I've read enough of them by now to sort of know what to expect and just go with the flow and enjoy.  Because of this, I now tend to be intrigued by the details.  In this story, I wonder about the relationship, or lack thereof, between Ethan/Carolyn and his/her mom.  I can understand his mom getting fed up with being left alone and having an affair, but I can't understand her just leaving her son, who's feminine side she nurtured, in the lurch.  Janet doesn't paint either parent as being bad, so why did Ethan pick his dad to stay with rather than the mother who nurtured his feminine side, and why no contact (that were told about) with mom after the divorce?  There is no mention of hostility on Carolyn's part toward her mom; I would tyhink she would want to tell mom about her successes as a girl. Any answers?

Wonderful! (as usual!)

Janet, a sweet tale once again, with a nice story of self-discovery.

This is the kind of story I'm talking about when I say we need more Sweet/Sentimental.

Keep up the great work!

Hugzz,
Lisa
