It is a sweet enough story, and perhaps the punishment is best left to the imagination of the reader, if only because you still can't (quite) be arrested for what you think. :-)

this was a good story but to short how he must have felt was amazing ly hard for him i presume that this happened before the previous story of jimmys further humilation you have done reallty well &its a great story

I hear this kind of punishment still goes on in England. But, here in the US, it is considered child abuse and if ever reported to the authorities, the guilty party or parties would be arrested and charged with a crime. Those reading this, go to your local courthouse and go into the law library and you will see what the penalties are for child abuse and there are different degrees of abuse. Of course if the child commits suicide then the added charge is manslaughter. In some states, it carries 25 years to life. However, in this day and age of sex deviates (not TG's or Gays) and sexual child molesters, this type of punishment can be a lifetime yoke on the person so convicted because then they would a convicted sex offender. If you don't believe me, ask a lawyer. If he's worth his salt he will tell you why this is sexual deviant behavior.

However, This was a good story and I did enjoy reading it.

Wonderful job really love the way the characters interacted with one another through the story.

Great job!  This was actually a very believable story.  While the girls did lightly tease Jimmy, they acted as they would normally toward a brother doing his sister, their friend, a favor. The adults in the story seemed to be fair, not taking sadistic pleasure in what they were making both children do, just wanting them to learn a lesson.  The punishment seemed reasonable (no bondage or baby stuff)and fit the crime, and while I don't think it would be allowed here in the U.S. today, I think it might have been allowed in the 1950's. There was no bias against the boy; his sister was punished in as humiliating a fashion, for her, as he was or perhaps even worse.  And finally, Jimmy was not a crybaby "weeping tears of humiliation" over every step; he didn't like what he had to do, but he realized he and Susan had done wrong and was planning on taking his punishment in a mature fashion.  If he maintains that attitude at the girls' school and at his boys' school, he will come in for a lot less hazing than if he were to act like a crybaby.  

I think putting his hair up will actually turn out better for him as it will allow him to actually look like a girl and he's shown he can play the part; better that than a whinning half and half.  I also think the fact that he is not a macho schmuck - was, in fact, helping a girl - will earn him the respect or at least the toleration of the girls with whom he has to interact.  Maybe they will even help him be more like a girl for the month so as to get along better rather than to just "dress him up" to tease or (try to) humiliate him.

I'd like to read about Jimmy and Susan's month.  If there is a part 2, I hope it continues in the fashion of part 1.
