I have always liked your stories but this one did nothing for me. Sorry.

Is very weak this story.

The ending is pretty much fraudulent to me, for I do not believe one's daughter would effectly kill her innocent father just to live a life denied through no fault of his own. I would find it very tough for anyone to forgive someone who killed off their father for such selfish reasons.

Just another note.  Al seemed like a good dad.  If Tiffany had revealed who she was, I bet Al, like any good parent, would have voluntarilly given his life for her.  I think that would have been a better, more believable, ending

I agree with Grando, the story was great, the slow transformation very well written, but the end sucked.  Poor Al.  Tiffany murders her own father and his wife and other daughters don't care at all?
Shades of King Lear.  I do think, however, that some of this was Al's fault, being too uptight to seek help.

This was a cool story, but the ending just sucked. You're trying to tell me that the father is effectively killed off, and no one seems to care? I find that hard to believe.
