I had a long argument with my sister about how to treat a rapist. Now before anyone thinks it, I am a girl too, but I have a different view on rapists.

Yes rape is evil and destructive. But raping a rapist? Two wrongs don't make a right. In fact, by orchestrating the rape of a rapist, you yourself become what you are punishing.

"But he's a rapist! That makes it alright!" No it doesn't. Rape is rape. Period. End of story. It doesn't matter who it's done too.

Suddenly your antagonist becomes the victim, and now it's him/her we are sympathizing with, not you.

I really liked the story and believe he got his just deserts,I think all rapists should be treated this way or castrated.

This story has bothered me ever since I read it two days ago. -- Abraham Lincoln suggested that being a master was ultimately even more degrading than being a slave. How many of the persons in on the "taming" of this rapist would be tainted in some inner way for the rest of their lives?

Notice, that most of the ideas came from one person and that the rest just kind of went along? jasmine has it exactly right. Although imperfect (to say the least), our system of justice is the product of centuries of work. We abandon or skirt it at our peril.

I would like to say good riddins to the rapist, but cant. I dearly believe that no one deserves to be raped. the punishment mealted out is sadistic and not punishment, it is vengence. now i know the reason for a jury and judge and due process.
I see a suicide in his future

The importance of reader feedback cannot be overstated.   Authors rely on it to improve their future works, and it gives them the incentive to write more stories if they know that their hard work has been appreciated.  I am not saying that comments must all be lauditory.  Authors often appreciate honest, constructive criticism over simple remarks like 'Great story', although simple praise is appreciated also.  There is no limit on how much you can enter in the 'comments' box.   Sentences will automatically word wrap at the end of the line so please do not use your carriage return/enter key except at the end of your paragraphs.
