Really wish the rest of the story would of been posted here.  I'm really starting to get into this one and its not been completed and worse yet say its finished on fictionmania but FM has been down for like 2 months now *pouts*

I've read the complete story that can be found on fictionmania.
This is absolutely excellent, probably the best I've read. Thanks for such a great story, good characters and storyline.
I appreciated as well the slow mind change of James/Maggie. She didn't dive as a madgirl in the woman world, the frilly clothes, cheerleeding, ... This is what usually happen in lot of the stories, and I find it very disturbing.

Yeah, I tried sending another email to fictionmania, but the site's down.  I should probably upload the completed story here too.  Sorry it took so long, and thanks for sticking with it.

Dear Brevdravis,

On Fictionmania, chapter 15 is labeled as chapter 16 both on the website's listing of chapters as well as when first opening the chapter's page. It is titled as "Untitled" in both places, whereas just at the beginning of the chapter it is titled "Cover." I love the story and hope that you can adjust this.

A great story!  Please add more.  I've GOT to hear how James is doing.

Thanks,

Thank you for bringing back for me a little peice of Monterey. I myself was an Alvarado Rat long years ago, and miss it so much I readily devour anything written.

I hope for more.

Brevdravis,

You happen to have written a story with many elements that i really appreciate in an author. The long set-up. Interesting characters. Interesting premis. Potential for significant character change ("I'm still James"). Insights into familiar people from a different perspective. I even like that James as a person isn't especially likable. She has a lot of opportunity to realize that there may be more to life than what she can take. I must admit to being a bit puzzled by the meaning of the different guises of the spirit character.  Maybe there is no meaning, but your piece is so thoughtful that it is probably there somewhere. Perhaps I'll catch on by reading the rest of your story?

Really creative, and really a fun read. Thanks!

"Thank you sir, may I have another?"

Good writing, fun story to follow, and such nice big chunks of it too.  Thanks for writing this, and I'll be watching for more.

Great story. Can't wait for the further adventures of Maggie. I like the way you show his reaction to the clothing and the idea of someone staring at him.
Keep the chapters coming.

The importance of reader feedback cannot be overstated.   Authors rely on it to improve their future works, and it gives them the incentive to write more stories if they know that their hard work has been appreciated.  I am not saying that comments must all be lauditory.  Authors often appreciate honest, constructive criticism over simple remarks like 'Great story', although simple praise is appreciated also.  There is no limit on how much you can enter in the 'comments' box.   Sentences will automatically word wrap at the end of the line so please do not use your carriage return/enter key except at the end of your paragraphs.
