A nice peice of work. The moderatly passed change works well.Although if there was more resistence and less imedate acceptence it might of been a bit more interesting. But all in all good work-kept me hooked till the end..

Dear Julie:

Once again, you have reaffirmed your place among my favorite writers.  Your technique just gets better and better.  This was a very compelling, and as always with your work, visual read.  I think it would have been interesting to learn a bit more about the character of Kristy's two lovers.  Being familiar with your writing, I caught on fairly early that the "you" in question would turn out to be Iona, and I was glad I was right,

Love & huggles,
Sheryl S.

A good short story.
It reads very well, bit I don't know why.

I don't think its the characters, and I don't think they are really well drawn.

I think it is in the first third of the story.
It sets everything up so well that the narrative just flows from then
on - yes I think that's it !

Very clever and well done

A well written story. The character development was very real, especially for a magical transformation story. A nice piece of work!

The importance of reader feedback cannot be overstated.   Authors rely on it to improve their future works, and it gives them the incentive to write more stories if they know that their hard work has been appreciated.  I am not saying that comments must all be lauditory.  Authors often appreciate honest, constructive criticism over simple remarks like 'Great story', although simple praise is appreciated also.  There is no limit on how much you can enter in the 'comments' box.   Sentences will automatically word wrap at the end of the line so please do not use your carriage return/enter key except at the end of your paragraphs.
