A promising story start.  Why did you stop after two parts?  It was just starting to sound good.Did you ever read "I will Fear No Evil", by Heinlein?  Similar sort of theme.I liked the clever little details you put in, like the automatic driven cars with the entertainment system inside, that is switched off when you leave the motorway, and the solar powered car because nearly all the oil is used up by the 2060s.  I seem to remember its called "local colour" and adds authenticity to a tale.I do hope you can get back into it.  This strange genre is too full of stories that start and never get finished.  I suppose TG TV people include a lot who are experimenting, to find out what they are, and who later leave it all because they decide that they are "not like that"?  As a GG may I say, don't be afraid, most of us real girls are quite flattered that you want to be like us.Briar

It said I was 13th  reader when I looked so I am pleased to say though I am first to post a comment on what has the makings of a fine story. Normally sci-fi doesnt do much for me but this was really good. Looking for more and well done.

The importance of reader feedback cannot be overstated.   Authors rely on it to improve their future works, and it gives them the incentive to write more stories if they know that their hard work has been appreciated.  I am not saying that comments must all be lauditory.  Authors often appreciate honest, constructive criticism over simple remarks like 'Great story', although simple praise is appreciated also.  There is no limit on how much you can enter in the 'comments' box.   Sentences will automatically word wrap at the end of the line so please do not use your carriage return/enter key except at the end of your paragraphs.
