While it's a good story, and difficult to stop reading, the lack of respect that Dennis received, in addition to what they did to him, may justify child abuse. She may be his guardian, but she had no interest in protecting him - just her inheritance. It's sad when the wicked witch, and her evil daughters, brainwash someone and win the fight. On top of that, the illegal actions in this story - drugging the child, the doctor's actions and the start of a sex-change (without his knowledge) - are attrocious. Justice would be changing the sex of the step-mother and all the sisters. Reduce their estrogen, inject them with testosterone (over the long-term) and plaster their faces on billboards detailing their action (both on Dennis, and with his dad). A transition like this would appear far better if it was ENTIRELY voluntary - suggested by the individual and not forced down his throat by a tag team of people that tower over him. Voluntary sex-changes often mess someone up later in life, but a forced sex-change would be even more traumatic for him as an adult - expecially if the truth comes out. Check out sex-reassignments on infants and the trauma they experience.

then about 1/8th through the story i was loke omg this is the best story i have ever read i could not stop reading in and i still cant
in the last 3 days i have read it 7 times i just love it

i started to read this and i couldn't put it down. it was that good. one of the best i've have read. keep it up

I find this cruel and unusual. I hate when the antagonist wins. Especially in this case. Along with Kate's A sissy Mister. This one is one of my least favorites. Especially since there are cases like these in the real world.

Read your story and enjoyed it. It is too bad that Dennis had to be "forced" to become Denise. It would have been much nicer to see her appear by love rather than initial meaness from "Mom" and the girls. I do undertand they were trying to help her, but the help they initially gave could have had caused serious mental problems. In fact, I was picking up that "vibe" in several comments made by Dennis in his male role and Denise in her female form.
Over all, you are a very good story writer and should do more. Have you done anything else since 1999?

What a bitch stepmother complete with evil stepsisters.  He did nothing to deserve what they did to him.  I had hoped that DENNIS would fight it all the way.  He should have run.  I hate it when the bad guys - in this case girls - win!  He should hate their guts, but talk about your stockholm syndrome, they've got him so brainwashed he loves his torturers.  All four women should be put in jail for a long long time!

Just great loved it

Such a wonderful story teller Jacki is that I think the world of her writings. She has again done a fantastic job with telling a tale of wonder and as she continues to grace these pages with her abilities I'll miss not having the new stories which she has still sitting within her computer hard drive just waiting to be finished.

Like so many of her other stories I can see myself being placed with her story as the main character. Here is a boy who has some very hard times and comes to find the changes his stepmother has in mind for him are just what he needed in the first place.

I love this type of story and hope to read many more like them from Jacki.
