That certainly was a terrible accident that led to a wonderful ending, great imagination Janet, well done.

Very well done, this was another great story. Just a little different to your other stories but still very captivating.

This story is as real(-sounding) as  it gets.
You're a genius.

From an accident, Sultry is born. Janet, we need to see what happens next with her and Bill. All in all, great story Janet.

As always, Janet does not disappoint.

However, I caught a few errors, such as "plaintiff" being used where, I believe, "plaintive" ("...plaintiff cry of agony...".) was the word which the author intended.

Also, unless there was another singer by the same name, Diana Krall was not, as the author claims, "...a popular singer from the fifties...". She is, in fact, alive today (she married Elvis Costello on December 11, 2003, at which time she was 39 years of age), and is a modern-day jazz/blues revival singer.

Once again, no criticism is intended. As I usually say, I am merely pointing out minor errors in an otherwise excellent story, just in case Ms. Stickney should choose to release a revised version in the future.

Just re-reading the old one's and noticed this one had no comments!

I just love your stories Janet and this one is really nice;  It seems to take the 'girl' in the family situation as normal and thinking about the opportunity to dress in full at home especially using your sister's wardrobe is quite exciting.  Oh to have a voice let alone a singing voice! and well going out en femme is not on the agenda either so its lovely to have a well written fantasy.

You have a talent and i'm so pleased you use it regularly; it's like looking forward to the next Dick Francis or Ian Rankin novel but comes around more often

Bye for now

The importance of reader feedback cannot be overstated.   Authors rely on it to improve their future works, and it gives them the incentive to write more stories if they know that their hard work has been appreciated.  I am not saying that comments must all be lauditory.  Authors often appreciate honest, constructive criticism over simple remarks like 'Great story', although simple praise is appreciated also.  There is no limit on how much you can enter in the 'comments' box.   Sentences will automatically word wrap at the end of the line so please do not use your carriage return/enter key except at the end of your paragraphs.
