Great storytelling! As much as I love the character development and progression of the story, I just can't help but feel a little uneasy and sad about the circumstance surrounding Craig's feminization and ultimate transformation into Cathy. She didn't really hate being a boy but simply felt unloved, lonely, and uncared for and associated those feelings with being a boy; she simply wasn't surrounded by loving and caring people when she was younger. I can't help but wonder if she would've stayed as a boy if she had realize that her new friends and family would've still loved her as a boy. Comment by Sam on 02/10/14 Great story, would have liked to have known what happened after he/she came home,or what happened to the rest of the family. But especially to evil Christy.Well done Comment by Mariuss on 01/23/13 Since his birth, I've counted Ben as a mmbeer of my extended family at the Dunes Bible Camp; indeed, it has been my habit even before the accident to refer to Ben as my little brother when trying to explain our relationship to people unfamiliar with the Surprunowski family or DBC.Some of my earliest memories are of playing on the camp property with Ben and his sister Danae hiding in rhododendron bushes, climbing trees, building forts , and so on. As we grew older, the activities certainly shifted we spent less time climbing trees and more time playing video games but Ben continued to be a regular presence in my life.As we both entered our teenage years, I had the pleasure of participating in our church's youth leadership team with Ben, and the even greater pleasure of seeing my little brother grow into a young man with a heart for God, a passion for people, and a persistent inquisitiveness. Especially over the last few years, I've seen Ben refuse to be content with easy answers and unexamined living; instead, he has increasingly made his life and faith his own by seeking to know *why* he lives and believes as he does.More recently, I especially treasure memories of longboarding the Discovery Trail with Ben. My relocation to Portland (and later, Ben's move to California) made our contact less frequent, so our rides on the trail stand out as moments when two old friends reconnected, shared news of their lives, and reminisced as only old friends can. Comment by Francesca Barrie on 04/15/01 A beautiful, sweet, romantic TG story. Ilove 'em. I was rather hoping that Cathy and Beth's love would prevail but this did not detract from my pleasure. You are such a good story teller. Thank you. Comment by Robin on 01/04/01 What a wonderful sweet story, but I can't get part 3 to come up, and can hardly wait to read it. |

The importance of reader feedback cannot be overstated. Authors rely on it to improve their future works, and it gives them the incentive to write more stories if they know that their hard work has been appreciated. I am not saying that comments must all be lauditory. Authors often appreciate honest, constructive criticism over simple remarks like 'Great story', although simple praise is appreciated also. There is no limit on how much you can enter in the 'comments' box. Sentences will automatically word wrap at the end of the line so please do not use your carriage return/enter key except at the end of your paragraphs. It is not necessary to use your real name here, and, email addresses are optional. Posting your email address will allow the author to thank you for taking the time to post your comments, and/or discuss critiques and address possible concerns. Be forewarned that abusive remarks and language will be removed, and the posters may be banned from this AND other areas of StorySite. |
