I'm sorry. My brief synopsis of the ending would have been closer to " after he gave birth to their little girl. He closed his eyes and absorb the information he had just received. He no longer trusted his wife after she had just admitted to deceiving him very badly. He then asked the nurse to help him up. His wife asked him where he was going. he said " to the bathroom" After a very long period of time, She realized he had been gone too long. She then went to the bathroom only to find him hanging off the pipes with a note attached saying, "We had talked about you getting pregnant and starting a family. I loved you enough to get YOUR input. OBVIOUSLY you do not love me that much to ask for "the full option" without MY consent nor knowledge. Good luck with our daughter and goodbye."

I agree with Elizabeth.  Yes, one has to read fiction, especially TG fiction with a suspension of disbelief, but the ending of this story went way beyond my ability to do so.  The only thing I can conclude is that they must have been performing major hypnotherapy brainwashing on him during that month.  Maternal instincts/female hormones in no way explain the ease with which he accepts his new role and the fact that he apparently still loves the selfish bitch after what she did to him without his knowledge or consent.  Did she ever love him?  You don't make him out to be a bad or abusive husband, just a normal insensitive guy and that  was being taken care of by the normal sympathy activities. He didn't deserve this.
PS - you can't drink stuff with caffine in it because it may hurt the baby, but you can transplant a womb, with a fetus in it, from one person to another of a different sex???

So Kyle doesn't realise that his false bump and breasts have become real? Unlikely.
He sure adapts quickly to the fact that he now has a womb. Of course, that's par for the course in these stories, but Jane is utterly unconcerned about the fact that she now *doesn't*? Having a womb, and being able to conceive, is one of the most basic aspects of womanhood. For Jane, it's an instant menopause, with all the problems that brings.
And for that matter, Kyle gave birth amazingly easily... Women have wider hips for a reason! And the first birth often takes days, not minutes!

At least a Cesearian section would have been somewhat more plausible. I'm sorry, this is too much suspension of disbelief.
