The author's attempt at sounding oh so sophisticated make the homophone errors (especially to-too-two) and occasional dips into gutter language really glaring, distracting, and annoying. The unnecessary circumlocutions and redundancies are not impressive, either. Points off to Constance Grant as well, whose stories are usually very well-written, for volunteering to edit and then not catching these things, or for catching them and then not pointing them out to the author.

Otherwise, the idea of magic pumps that transform the wearer is very appealing to a die-hard stiletto fetishist like me. There are many more of Deane's stories at Fictionmania than here, and I will probably wind up reading them all. I just hope her more recent ones become more relaxed, less self-conscious, and flow better.

    Excellent story! Keep up the great work. I especially enjoyed the way the shoes could cause his clothes and appearance to morph into what ever he was concentrating on. The possibilities are endless. You could start a entire new universe about magical heels finding their way to various men and how they make use of them.

Part 5 was great with this story. Loved all of it but Part 5 is my favorite so far.

Deane has a very good story going and the odd twists to it add to the enjoyment.

SPOILER: Part 5 is already post at Nifty (as of 12-09-00).
        But I'm not telling any details.

Part 4 was pretty good with the talk that of staying a girl with the heels off for the time it is on and I like the way this part ended. Though I won't give it away.

The story line remind me a little of the modern CINDERALLA movie IF THE SHOE FITS where a average looking girl turned into a knock out only when the heels was on the person.

I like the story with comments about familiar places like OUTBACK and the comment converation of the girl characters aout the main always seen in heels except at the spa.

This story, as well as others I've read by this author, is an entertaining mix of witty humor and sexy situations. I recommend it to any who enjoy magical situations and fun storys.
