Wow, this is a very different type of story than I've grown accustomed to from Ty Slothrop.  A mysterious, but very fun transformational tale.  Very interesting pacing and a little twist here and there to keep it interesting!  Really enjoyed the hair and clothes descriptions.  The description of the magical reality changes pretty much walks us through a dreamlike state that somehow has enough realism to add to the enjoyment, rather than be a distraction.  I only hope that Ty had as much fun writing this as I had reading it!  Thanks!

When I read a story like this one, I dispair of my own efforts.  Well thought out plot, characters who are actually likeable and seem very real, no sloppy editing, and a plausable ending, make this story a classic-to-be.

VERY well done, Slothrup.  A VERY enjoyable read.  I'd give it an A+ if pressed to grade it.
